Observations from the Lab for April 2024

It’s been a busy Spring at GoatVision Labs! Amidst assembling cassette tapes, completing recordings, and making interstate deliveries to our artists, we’ve finally managed to find time for this update on recent and upcoming happenings at the Lab.

The Progressive Polka Project’s new album Polka, Pizzazz, and Polkas finally hits the streets on cassette tape this Friday! You may have already heard the album (and if not, fix that!), but now you can finally hear it the way Guy intended; transduced from a tiny strip of two-track double-sided tape to warm analogue sound, complete with all of the desired Enoian quirks inherent to the medium. Housed in light-blue hand-stamped tapes, this version of the album also includes four exclusive bonus polkas to help keep your polka parties going strong for nearly 10 additional minutes!

Polka, Pizzazz, and Polkas ships 4.19.24, preorder on Bandcamp and listen now via streaming or YouTube visualizer.

Jerry Joins a Church Band, The next installment in our Jerry cassette tape series, is shipping later this month on Friday the 26th. In addition to being only the second ever physical release from Jerry, The album now features updated artwork! Jerry Joins a Church Band stands as one of Jerry’s most cohesive recordings to date while also delivering all of the shock and bombast that his fans have come to expect.

Jerry Joins a Church Band ships 4.26.24, preorder and listen now on Bandcamp.

Greyson JS dropped another track late last month called Expected Turbulence. Frenetic DnB rhythms meet raucous surf-tinged guitar soloing while layers of morphing effects keep things surprising all the way to the end.

Listen to Expected Turbulence via Bandcamp or streaming

As I mentioned in the opening, we’ve also been finishing up a few big recordings behind the scenes that you’ll definitely hear about soon. To make sure you don’t miss the news, make sure to follow our social media and consider signing up for our mailing list! That’s all we’ve got for this month . . .

Thanks for reading,
